I own a Naked Labs 3D body scanner. Naked Labs shut down their cloud service in October 2023, rendering the hardware non-functional. This series documents my personal recovery of the device for my own use, and is published by Squirreleye LLC for an audience of other owners in the same situation. Nothing in this series involves accessing devices that aren't mine.
- No firmware, credentials, or other copyrighted material from Naked Labs / Prism Labs is included in this series.
- Where I describe security-relevant findings, I do so descriptively, not as instructions for attacking devices the reader doesn't own.
- If you have a Naked Labs scanner and want help reviving it, the contents of this series are intended for you. If you don't, please respect that this is an end-of-life device with documented owners who deserve to use their hardware.
NakedMirrorDebug is the open-source iOS diagnostic app this whole series was built on. It walks a 16-step BLE and HTTP runbook against the mirror (discover, connect, enumerate services, subscribe to every state notification, read the status characteristics, and exercise the scan-flow control commands) and surfaces all of it in a scrollable on-device log you can inspect or stream to a Mac. If you're reviving your own mirror, it's the place to start.

These notes and the debug app are free. If they helped you get your mirror working again and you'd like to say thanks, you can leave a tip.
